Regional Sales Manager West - Industrial - Trojan

About the Role

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within the assigned territory. Establishes professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts and meets targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars. This position is part of the Sales team and will be remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive new customer acquisition, meet with customers, and cultivate strategic partnerships within your territory.
• Ensure achievement of sales plans by managing opportunities and sales funnel through Trojan Technologies' CRM system.
• Meet or exceed growth targets for new customers and sales funnel.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Engineering or related science preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in direct and channel-based selling or 3+ years managing sales personnel in industrial markets, including Chemicals, Mining, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Food & Beverage, Power, Water Markets, Mobile filtration solutions, water treatment services, chemical sales, or capital equipment.
• Proven track record of negotiating and closing contracts over $1 million in premium-priced products.
• Ability to travel 50-70% of the time throughout the Western U.S.

Preferred Qualifications

• Based in the Western U.S., within an hour's drive of a major airport.
• Experience with "Water as a Service" or water mobile filtration rentals.
