Job summary

Core & Main is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive growth in assigned territory, focusing on distributors and end users in the water distribution sector. The role rewards a competitive base salary plus commissions and includes a company vehicle and full benefits.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of outside sales experience in water distribution or related fields, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel ~50% of the time while covering a large territory.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years outside sales experience in water distribution or related field (construction, piping, etc.).
• Valid driver’s license with no major violations.
• Ability to travel approximately 50% of schedule (roughly 3–4 days/week with one office day).
• Ability to cover a large geographical sales territory.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication.
• Must be able to lift in excess of 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Call on end product users to promote product lines and develop favorable specifications.
• Provide complete service to distributor network including quotations, training, support, warranty, and delivery issues.
• Perform product training for end users and distributors to promote advantages of offerings.
• Establish sales goals and specification objectives to meet company targets.
• Identify bid opportunities and provide complete project information and pricing strategy.
• Provide after-sales service support, including warranty and claims management.
• Participate in trade organizations to promote products.
• Provide leadership with monthly sales forecast and market overview.
