Job summary

RACO Manufacturing & Engineering Co. is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive growth across a defined U.S. territory by leading independent sales reps and engaging key accounts in the water, wastewater, and industrial markets.

You will train reps, develop new business, and conduct product demonstrations, tradeshow participation, and customer engagements. Expect 40–80% travel and a role focused on ownership, accountability, and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical B2B sales or sales management.
• Experience in water, wastewater, instrumentation, pumps, controls, or industrial automation preferred.
• Proven success in consultative selling and managing independent reps or channel partners.
• Willingness to travel 40–80% depending on region.

Responsibilities

• Manage independent sales reps: train, coach, and support aligned with RACO’s sales process.
• Drive business development and market growth with municipalities, utilities, OEMs, engineering firms, and large accounts.
• Deliver compelling product demos and technical presentations to reps, contractors, and customers.
• Identify, qualify, and onboard new sales reps for market penetration and growth.
• Meet or exceed sales and revenue targets; maintain accurate opportunity and forecast reporting.
