Position Summary
The Regional Sales Manager will develop business opportunities for our newly launched flexible and intelligent residential energy storage system. The role involves managing relationships, driving sales, and establishing Camel Energy as a market leader in the region. This position is remote within the United States.
Responsibilities
- Generate, identify, and contact new leads. Develop and implement strategies to grow the customer base within the territory.
- Meet targets for sales volume, revenue, and gross margin, along with market share and customer growth goals.
- Understand technical and financial project needs, offering tailored support outside of the product when applicable.
- Establish and communicate sales forecasts, opportunities, and review prospects regularly.
- Gather and share competitive, market, and territory data to inform marketing strategies and product development.
- Represent the company at trade shows and conferences, entertain clients, and close sales opportunities.
- Enhance brand awareness and recognition in the marketplace as the face of Camel Energy.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Preferably hold a bachelor’s or associate degree in business management, administration, engineering, supply chain, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3+ years in B2B sales, with at least 2+ years in the energy storage and photovoltaic industry.
- Engineering background or technical sales proficiency is preferred.
- Ability to quickly learn about the solar energy industry, trends, and become a subject matter expert in state-level markets.
- Proven ability to identify and secure new prospects.
- Experience with value selling and developing account penetration strategies.
- Skilled at identifying decision-makers in complex deals.
- Excellent presentation, communication, written, and verbal skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others.
- Participation in regular review meetings and training sessions.
- High proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Possess a strong work ethic, competitive spirit, and driven attitude.
- Flexible work schedule support is required.
- Commitment to honesty, responsibility, and meeting commitments within a team environment.
Compensation & Benefits
- Quarterly uncapped commissions based on sales performance.
- Competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $150,000, plus bonuses, commensurate with experience.
- Work flexibility with hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., including one remote day.
