Job summary

Tris Pharma, Inc. seeks a Regional Sales Manager for the South Texas region, covering Houston, Austin, San Antonio and nearby areas. Qualified candidates must live in the territory.

The role leads a high-performing sales team, coaches reps, analyzes data, and plans regional strategy to meet national goals. Travel up to 75% is required; base salary ranges $170k–$185k per year with incentives and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and minimum 2 years pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology sales management experience OR Bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology sales experience including field or regional responsibilities.
• Demonstrated success developing and mentoring pharmaceutical sales representatives.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex sales and technical data and develop strategic and actionable business plans.
• Excellent presentation skills and experience.
• Excellent coaching and mentoring skills.
• Ability to travel extensively - minimum 75% of week (car and/or air).
• Ability to communicate scientific and medical information to external customers.

Responsibilities

• Delivers sales performance and KPIs to meet/exceed regional sales plan; collaborates cross-functionally to align region with brand strategy and goals.
• Drives on-boarding, training, development, coaching, and motivation of sales reps; analyzes data to improve region performance.
• Ensures updates and feedback to sales team to enhance skills and business acumen.
• Participates in building a comprehensive regional sales plan aligned with national goals and compliance guidelines.
• Analyzes data and metrics to evaluate progress and manages territory planning, resources, and budget.
• Discerns local marketplace trends and makes data-driven decisions.
