Job Overview: The Regional Manager possesses high technical aptitude, influencing brand preference and articulating value propositions. Territory covers Northeast US states, focusing on chemical processing, oil & gas, industrial, and water/wastewater markets.

Responsibilities:

  1. Execute strategic plans to grow sales and support regional sales activities.
  2. Collaborate with sister companies for market synergies.
  3. Understand target markets and bring value through energy and ambition.
  4. Recommend channel partner changes and market segmentation.
  5. Manage sales channels, establish targets, review performance, and develop strategies.
  6. Provide technical product and sales training to channel partners.
  7. Collect and report market intelligence, maintain a 'Report Card' via Distributor Dashboard.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Mechanical aptitude with experience and training in relevant disciplines.
  • 5+ years selling pumps and process equipment.

Core Competencies:

  • Experience selling through channels, managing EPCs, OEMs, and Key Accounts.
  • Knowledge of chemical processes, injection, and treatment technologies.
  • Relationship building, credibility, integrity, and proven sales track record.
  • Knowledge of working with specifying engineers and customer base.
  • Current customer relationships and local regional knowledge.
  • Self-starter, results-oriented, professional appearance, strong communication skills, proficient in MS Office, CRM, ERP.

Preferences:

  • Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.

Travel & Work: ~65% travel expected.
