Then you might be the person we are looking for to take on the role of Regional Sales Manager - Midwest and report to our Head of Sales-NAM.

As a Regional Sales Manager at Nord-Lock Group, you will:
  1. Support our Business Unit Nord-Lock in the Midwest.
  2. Be responsible for planning and implementing sales and marketing programs, both short and long term, targeted toward existing and new markets.

The role will report to our Clinton, PA facility but you will be able to work remotely in the Midwest region. The ideal candidate will be located in/around Chicago, IL. Relocation is not being offered for this position.

Your profile consists of the following:
  • Responsibility for all sales functions within the territory.
  • Development of key business relationships within the territory, with a primary focus on identifying and developing opportunities for business expansion.
  • Establishing and maintaining close personal contact with customers and distribution partners.
  • Ensuring effective use of the sales accountability program throughout the territory.
  • Collaborating with Engineering, Marketing, Production, and Inside Sales to meet customer expectations.
  • Providing input for sales strategies to maximize market penetration.
  • Identifying objectives, strategies, and action plans to improve sales and earnings.
  • Researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport, providing technical information, and coordinating quotations.
  • Cultivating new business accounts through inquiries and CRM system management.
  • Filling orders, communicating delivery timelines, and explaining manufacturing processes.
  • Developing accounts by analyzing buying history and explaining technical features.
  • Maintaining quality standards and participating in professional development activities.
  • Achieving department and organizational goals by exploring new opportunities and adding value.
Requirements & Desired Characteristics:
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years’ sales experience or 10 years of equivalent experience.
  • Experience in the Fastener industry and/or OEM/MRO preferred.
  • Success working in remote teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Goal-oriented with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Residence within 45 miles of a major international airport.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
