Job summary

A. M. Castle & Co. in the southern Michigan region seeks a results-driven Territory Manager to grow stainless/aluminum flat roll sales and expand market share.

You will represent Castle to OEMs, contract metal processors, service centers, and distributors, develop profitable business plans, negotiate contracts, and coordinate cross-functional teams to meet customer needs while delivering value and profitability.

Qualifications

• Experience selling stainless/aluminum flat roll products (slit coil and blanks)
• Two years of related sales experience with knowledge of business acumen and marketing strategies
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to develop relationships
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to present to clients
• Good problem-solving and organizational skills
• PC literacy, proficiency in MS Office suite

Responsibilities

• Territory Growth & Sustainment: represent and sell stainless/aluminum flat roll within a sales territory; identify opportunities to increase market share.
• Sells products and solutions, makes presentations and proposals to clients with profitability in mind.
• Negotiate price, inventory commitments, and contracts in line with company policies.
• Coordinate with Inside Sales, Purchasing, Operations and Quality to service accounts.
• Forecasting and market analysis to develop sales objectives; manage CRM calls and visits.
• Coordinate inventory requirements to support customer sales and manage company assets.
• Drive cross-functional teamwork to meet customer expectations and improve service levels.
