IMI plc is a global specialist engineering company that creates breakthrough solutions. We focus on designing, building, and servicing highly engineered products in fluid and motion control applications across sectors such as Industrial Automation, Process Automation, Climate Control, Life Science, and Transport.

The Regional Sales Manager will promote, grow, and support sales of IMI products in a high-growth environment, focusing on results and delivering solutions to customers. The role emphasizes growth in advanced control valves with digital capabilities and automation, targeting contractors, OEMs, and industry designers.

This remote position involves up to 75% travel, including trade shows, customer visits, and industry events, with flexibility based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive business development and close new opportunities using a consultative sales approach.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, industry stakeholders, and partners.
  • Provide technical and commercial support, including product training and customized solutions.
  • Represent IMI at trade shows and industry events, engaging in presentations and seminars.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and project progress; communicate insights to leadership.
  • Use CRM tools to track interactions and opportunities.
  • Forecast sales and support regional sales goals.
  • Assist customers throughout the sales cycle, from pre-order to post-installation.
  • Participate in continuous improvement, safety programs, and training.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Four-year degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • At least 3+ years of manufacturing sales management experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of hydronic balancing valves and HVAC flow control is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% annually based on business needs.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with representatives, distributors, contractors, and engineering firms.
  • Experience in product training and customer presentations.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales quotas.
  • Highly organized, driven, team-oriented, with excellent communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license; fluent in English.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $130,000 - $150,000 annually, plus variable incentive pay. Benefits include health plans, 401K with matching, paid parental leave, employee resource groups, PTO, career development, health savings accounts, mental health programs, voluntary benefits, disability and life insurance, financial advising, and stock purchase plans.
