Regional Sales Manager - Capital Equipment

Movement Search & Delivery is working with a world leader in fluid distribution and handling. Due to their growth, they have created a new position for a Regional Sales Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a 5M territory, focusing on heavy industry, manufacturing, and municipalities that utilize fluid handling equipment.
  • Act as both a hunter (new business development) and a farmer (manage existing customer relationships).
  • Sell capital equipment and projects to heavy industrial sectors and municipalities, targeting industries such as Chemical, Water/Waste Water, Power Generation, and Oil & Gas.
  • Prepare, monitor, and measure against yearly budgets; monitor gross margin and drive improvements throughout the year.
  • Focus on value selling to increase the company's footprint within target plants and municipalities.

Requirements:

  • Experience selling capital equipment into heavy industry, manufacturing, or municipalities.
  • Experience selling rotating equipment (pumps or compressors) or fluid power/fluid handling.
  • A 4-year engineering degree is highly preferred.
  • Ability to travel regionally up to 75%, including some overnight stays.
