What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead existing HVAC, Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire, and Seismic businesses in the Central Territory by establishing relationships with key influencers and identifying new opportunities
- Develop a 3-year sales strategy and tactical plan to achieve sales goals for the Fire Protection portfolio
- Provide product expertise through training and presentations to contractors and distributors
- Increase partnerships with Fire Protection Channel partners and develop growth plans
- Utilize Salesforce to manage the opportunity pipeline and provide internal feedback on market dynamics
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or applicable experience in mechanical sales
- Minimum of 5 years of outside sales and/or territory management experience, ideally in HVAC, Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire, or Seismic commercial sales
- Experience working with end-user customers on projects
- Proficiency with customer relationship management systems, preferably Salesforce
- Ability to travel 60% of the time within the region
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Background in Fire Protection sales is ideal
- Strong preference for value-based selling skills and technical sales experience
- Experience leading direct reports and/or third-party sales agents or channel partners
