Regional Sales Manager

Location: Nationwide - Remote

Our client, a global leader in advanced surface finishing solutions, is seeking a dynamic and driven Regional Sales Manager to lead sales growth across North American markets. With a track record of supplying innovative blasting and finishing media to industries spanning aerospace, automotive, electronics, and manufacturing, this privately held organization is investing in expanding their footprint and influence. This role is ideal for a strategic, hands-on sales leader looking to own their territory, contribute to national growth initiatives, and have a direct line to executive leadership.

This remote position requires frequent travel (approximately 50%) and offers the flexibility to be based anywhere in the U.S., though proximity to a major airport in the Midwest or Southeast is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive regional sales strategy focused on customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with industrial clients, production managers, and engineering teams.
  • Identify market trends and customer needs to position products effectively and tailor proposals accordingly.
  • Travel to manufacturing plants, attend trade shows, and represent the company at key industry events.
  • Partner with leadership to develop marketing collateral and promotional strategies that enhance brand visibility.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales reports, and activity logs to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams to deliver product demonstrations and troubleshoot customer challenges.
  • Report on market intelligence including competitor activity, pricing trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Participate in comprehensive onboarding and technical product training across multiple company sites.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in an outside or territory sales role, preferably within industrial, manufacturing, plastics, or chemical sectors.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in business, engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Strong consultative selling skills with a proven record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
  • Spanish language proficiency is a plus, especially for candidates focused on Southwest or cross-border sales opportunities.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and occasionally spend time at headquarters and production sites for training and collaboration.
