The Regional Sales Manager plays a critical role in managing relationships with TyrFil customers across an assigned region while also identifying and developing new business opportunities. This position is responsible for growing revenue, providing outstanding customer support, and contributing to the overall goals of the division. The role requires frequent travel (up to 70%) and regular customer engagement. This is a highly collaborative role that contributes to the broader commercial team's success. The position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to achieve sales targets
- Conduct a minimum monthly contact cadence with all regional Tire Fill customers
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to support growth within the region
- Meet with dealers, end users, and potential customers to present products and solutions
- Analyze current inventory levels and provide product recommendations to customers
- Prepare sales proposals, quotes, and promotional offers
- Determine equipment status and provide basic technical support or escalation
- Investigate and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner
- Support the Commercial team by responding to product, equipment, and part inquiries
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the CRM system
- Engage competitive aftermarket dealers and present Carlisle TyrFil solutions
- Develop and implement an annual Territory Development Plan aligned with growth objectives
- Provide marketing materials and product samples as requested
- Attend trade shows, customer events, and relevant industry association functions
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Teams
- Ability to travel up to 70% of the time, including overnights
- Must safely operate a company vehicle
Education and Experience:
Required:
- 1 to 3 years of relevant sales or customer-facing experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
- Experience in the tire or industrial product industry
