The role covers PA, OH, MI, IN, IL, and WI, with direct reports and a strong emphasis on relationship-building, negotiations, and presentations. Travel approximately 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field or 5+ years of flat roll steel sales.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and in-person presentations.
• Willing to travel approximately 50%.

Responsibilities

• Increase revenue across targeted accounts for flat rolled products and fabrication sales.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key customers; service existing accounts and manage new prospects.
• Plan daily calls, build territory intelligence, and support inside sales with reports.
• Lead territory planning, quarterly reviews, and expense reporting; travel as needed.

Job Description

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for increasing revenue in targeted accounts with a specific focus on flat rolled products, discrete plate and fabrication sales. This position must achieve or exceed the assigned quota on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key customers; service and manage existing customers; and establish new accounts by planning and organizing a daily work schedule to call on existing customers and\/or new sales prospects. The Regional Sales Manager will effectively build consensus, gain appropriate commitments and close business. They will provide territory intelligence, and serve as a key resource to the inside sales team. The position will perform sales management duties (i.e. territory planning reports, month in review reports, field sales daily call reports, expense reports, etc.). The Regional Sales Manager must maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in industry related associations and events. In addition, they may perform other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned as the job requirements dictate.

This position covers the following region: PA, OH, MI, IN, IL and WI and will have direct reports.

Qualifications

• Skilled in conducting face-to-face presentations, negotiating, closing sales, and account management


• MS Office 2010 proficiency (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)


• Must be highly motivated and possess a personal commitment to the success of the organization
