Upside Search is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive revenue growth across the Atlanta, GA territory. This field-based role owns the regional sales strategy, develops new business, and expands relationships with distributors, national accounts, and direct customers.

You will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, travel roughly 3-5 days per week, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven B2B sales experience with responsibility for developing and managing a geographic territory.
  • Experience selling through distributors and managing direct customer relationships strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate new business through proactive prospecting and relationship development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of independently managing a large geographic territory.
  • Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory approximately 3-5 days per week

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an annual territory sales strategy focused on achieving revenue and profitability goals.
  • Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, networking, face-to-face prospecting, and company-provided sales tools.
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers within prospective customer organizations while developing a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to identify opportunities for continued growth.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial prospecting and discovery through proposal development, pricing negotiations, and close.
  • Develop and present customized proposals based on each customer's specific needs and business objectives.
  • Grow revenue and profitability within existing accounts by identifying additional opportunities and strengthening customer relationships.
  • Develop strong relationships with distributors and key accounts throughout the assigned territory to increase sales volume and market penetration.
  • Provide local support to National Account locations operating within the assigned territory.
  • Maintain accurate records of prospecting activity, customer interactions, pipeline development, and sales opportunities within Salesforce.
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows, customer meetings, networking events, and other industry functions as needed.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to support customer needs and achieve broader company objectives.
