Job summary

Heidelberg Materials seeks a seasoned sales leader to head the regional sales and back-office teams for a region covering Chicago, NW Indiana, and Central Illinois, including 11 facilities. You’ll develop schedules, budgets, and risk plans while driving a customer-centric QC transformation.

You will bring 10+ years in sales with 5+ years in leadership, plus a Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering, to craft forward-thinking strategies and mentor a high-performing team across operations,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of sales experience with 5+ years in leadership/management, preferably in construction materials.
• Analytical skills to analyze data and market trends for informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for value-added interactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sales and back-office teams for a region including Chicago, NW Indiana, and Central Illinois (11 facilities).
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans.
• Develop and implement forward-thinking sales strategies to meet company goals and adapt to market changes.
• Mentor a high-performing sales team and drive customer-centric QC culture and transformational change.
• Collaborate with operations, QC, marine, NA Sales Operations, leadership, and external stakeholders.
