Job summary

McCormick & Company, Incorporated is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to support the Northeast Region for the Branded Flavor Solutions Sales team. This role will work remotely from a home office in the Northeast Region and report to the Vice President of Sales.

Preferential states to reside are MD, PA or NJ. The ideal candidate brings 6+ years in Food Service and managing food service brokers, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Food Service and managing Food Service Brokers.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills required.
• Ability to Travel 50%; Occasional weekends necessary.
• Experience in training and managing a food service local broker team.
• Excellent interpersonal (written and verbal) communications skills with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver customer sales and marketing plans for existing accounts, while seeking new business development opportunities.
• Provide detailed information about each customer to management including expenditures vs. forecast, budgeted expenses, trends and trade spend.
• Coordinate efforts with local broker network, broadline and independent distributors and operator account networks, including training of McCormick product offerings and policies.
• Interact with cross-functional teams and management levels within McCormick and present to executive-level audience.
• Use critical thinking to draw on experience, market knowledge, data and intuition in decisions.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales, marketing and trade spend plan for region level distributors.
