Avis Budget Group is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead, manage and grow a regional operation. You will craft sales plans, supervise staff, and coordinate with HQ and Supply Chain to optimize fleet and profitability.

The role requires 10+ years in operations management, strong leadership, and proven ability to drive market growth across multiple locations. Expect travel and a focus on performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Transportation, Economics, or Management is required.
• Minimum 10 years of operational management experience.
• Strong operational experience with fleet administration, accounting, and rent-a-car operations.
• Working knowledge of Avis and Budget brands, fleet planning and administration, and awareness of business trends.
• Excellent leadership and management skills with ability to guide many staff across multiple markets/locations.
• Strong interpersonal and coaching skills; ability to motivate teams.
• Detail oriented with strong problem-solving aptitude.
• Strong decision-making and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and computer skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Moderate travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and communicates sales operating plans to maximize revenue and market share.
• Sets monthly goals for each location's KPIs and tracks performance.
• Implements sales and marketing strategies to maximize opportunities.
• Oversees start-up activities for new locations within the region (infrastructure, staffing).
• Evaluates capital projects for regional growth and efficiency.
• Collaborates with WHQ, Sales, and Marketing to align policy and long-term objectives.
• Partners with management and Supply Chain on fleet-related matters.
• Maintains relationships with existing and new customers to drive growth and satisfaction.
