Job summary

Garmin Ltd. is seeking a full-time Regional Sales Manager at our MYLAPS office in Atlanta to own commercial growth across the United States, Canada and Latin America within the equine racing industries.

You will deepen relationships with racetrack operators, racing associations, jockey clubs and regulators, while travel up to 30% and leading sales initiatives across North America and Latin America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of sales/marketing experience with a proven track record
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets
• Service-oriented with strong relationship-building and customer service experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel up to 30% including weekends/trade shows

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to increase market share and profits
• Establish and execute sales plans and promotions
• Attain sales targets
• Ensure timely and impactful sales calls to all accounts
• Develop and grow new and underperforming market segments
• Execute use of POPs and displays to drive brand awareness and conversion
• Leverage product knowledge to sell to dealers
• Deliver training seminars to dealer network and coordinate training
• Create and give sales presentations to prospects and accounts
• Prepare and maintain monthly sales forecasts
• Communicate market needs and trends to leadership
• Suggest pricing and promotions to meet goals
• Provide recommendations and drive objective execution
• Serve as a vocal leader within the regional team
