Job summary

RATIONAL AG is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Raleigh/Durham, NC area to drive sales growth and market leadership in the assigned region. The role combines independent work with team collaboration, building relationships and expanding market share in collaboration with senior leadership.

You will promote RATIONAL equipment technology at Culinary Live events, expand the customer base, and manage budgets and plans to achieve annual targets, while reporting forecasts and maintaining CRM

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of increasing sales/revenue.
• Associate’s degree, culinary degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Promote RATIONAL equipment technology at events and demonstrations.
• Increase customer base in commercial market segments.
• Develop consultant/designer network for specification.
• Cold calling, prospecting and phone calls.
• Document customer information in CRM.
• Plan and execute daily/weekly/monthly activities to meet goals.
• Prepare monthly sales reports/forecasts and customer analysis.
• Develop and review annual business strategies with leadership.
• Participate in regional and national trade shows and meetings.
• Monitor competitive activity and market pressures.
