Job summary

Vanteo is seeking a Regional Sales Leader in California to build and own a regional sales funnel across five J-1 teacher-placement brands. You will map districts, charter networks, and voucher-funded or private schools, running outbound, events, and referrals to fill the top of the funnel.

You will carry a regional quota, lead a four-person New Sales Rep team (plus independent contractors), and coach your group to meet or exceed targets while ensuring compliance and quality across deals.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in new-business B2B or B2G sales with consistent attainment.
• Experience leading a quota-carrying team (2+ years) with hiring and coaching.
• Ability to build a funnel from scratch in education or public-sector markets.
• K-12 buyer understanding: districts, networks, and procurement cycles.

Responsibilities

• Own a regional quota and close deals personally.
• Recruit, onboard, and ramp four New Sales Reps.
• Develop partnerships with state departments, districts, and recruiters.
• Lead field activities: calls, visits, and pipeline reviews.
• Maintain accurate HubSpot data and provide regional forecasts.
