Job summary

EBSCO Information Services seeks a Regional Sales Manager to cover public libraries and K-12 markets across DC, DE, KY, PA, NJ, VA, and WV. Travel 50%+, build relationships, and drive new business while retaining existing revenue.

You will collaborate with Sales leadership and product specialists to exceed quotas, qualify customer needs, and present compelling demonstrations of EBSCO databases.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of outside sales experience in relevant markets.
• Strong organizational skills and calendar management with CRM proficiency.
• Residence within the territory; willingness to travel 50–70%.

Responsibilities

• Retain existing revenue and develop new opportunities to meet quotas.
• Meet 40 in-person visits per month across the territory.
• Collaborate with Sales leadership and product teams to hit goals.
• Travel 50% or more, including conferences and meetings.
• Demonstrate product knowledge with presentations and live demos.
• Qualify customer needs, prepare quotes, and coordinate trials.
• Maintain daily activity and forecasted sales pipeline.
