Job summary

Careermine is seeking a highly motivated Sales Engineer to support customers in the aggregate and mining industry. This regional, territory-based role requires ~50% travel, including several overnight stays each week.

You will identify opportunities for operational improvements, recommend equipment and process solutions, and help customers achieve production and profitability goals. Ideal candidates have a technical engineering background and extensive field-based customer support experience in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical industry experience.
• Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, or related technical background preferred.
• 3-10 years of experience within: Aggregates, Mining, Heavy industrial equipment, Material processing industries.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to quarry, mine, and plant management teams.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through regular site visits and operational reviews.
• Support applications involving: Crushing systems, Screening systems, Washing systems, Wear parts and wear materials, Material handling equipment, Process optimization initiatives.
• Evaluate customer operations and recommend solutions that improve productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
• Collaborate with internal application engineers, OEM partners, and technical resources to develop customer solutions.
• Balance sales growth objectives with long-term customer success and operational performance.
• Maintain a strong commitment to safety and professionalism in industrial environments.
• Manage territory opportunities, customer development plans, and strategic growth initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with equipment operators, maintenance personnel, plant managers, and ownership teams.
