Job summary

Varonis is seeking a Regional Sales Engineer to drive technical sales activity by configuring Varonis for SMB to enterprise accounts and improving security posture. You will manage multiple projects through the lifecycle and address customer concerns to ensure a positive deployment experience.

Ideal candidates will discuss highly technical concepts with varied audiences, work with sales on new opportunities, and foster strong customer relationships to support successful evaluations.

Qualifications

• Ability to discuss highly technical concepts with audiences from non-technical to executive level.
• Proficiency in AD, Windows, NAS, and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Proficiency with configuration and troubleshooting in a Windows Domain environment.
• Ability to manage many tasks and drive initiatives to completion.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
• BS in CS/CE/IT; additional information security education preferred.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Salesforce, Azure Blob, Snowflake, or AWS preferred.
• Experience with NTFS permissions, least privilege, data governance and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Work with sales on new business opportunities and upsell activity.
• Understand customer requirements and implement the Varonis platform to address business needs.
• Present technical information about the Varonis platform and services to customers.
• Manage simultaneous projects through evaluation lifecycle phases.
• Address customer concerns and foster a relationship to ensure a positive evaluation experience.
• Identify and bridge gaps in product documentation and configuration to improve deployment experience.
