Job Summary

The Regional Sales Director is responsible for building and developing a high-performing sales team within a defined territory to drive revenue growth and achieve sales quotas. They develop business plans to aggressively grow the territory, recruit top talent, coach performance, and provide ongoing learning and development opportunities for sales professionals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Communicate Paycor sales vision, business plans, and organizational updates to the sales team.
  2. Develop a territory plan to reliably deliver quota and expand in the region.
  3. Build partnerships with channel partners to capture business referrals.
  4. Execute marketing plans to develop local referenceable clients and increase brand awareness.
  5. Recruit, interview, and select talent to build a high-performing sales team.
  6. Manage the performance and professional development of sales executives.
  7. Develop individual business plans for sales executives to ensure their selling success.
  8. Ensure sales team alignment with Paycor sales processes, practices, and policies.
  9. Participate in weekly training on Paycor products, processes, and selling techniques.
  10. Analyze sales activity and results to guide individual performance and report to senior management.
  11. Represent Paycor in the community to enhance business relationships and increase brand awareness.
  12. Ensure ethical business practices.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience leading a high-performing sales team.
  • Proven track record of delivering sales results and growing a market.
  • Ability to coach and develop sales talent.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Four-year business degree.

We expect the base salary to be between $125,000 and $150,000, with eligibility for performance-based bonuses or commissions.
