What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in engineering or a related field.
• 8 or more years of experience in technical sales, with a strong background in the energy or grid technology sector. Those with more experience may be considered for a higher level, and vice versa.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in a complex B2B environment.
• Existing relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, facilitating smoother operations and negotiations.
• Strong skills in sales and business development, negotiation, and strategic thinking, complemented by analytical abilities.
• Adept at building relationships and influencing stakeholders, ensuring customer success and satisfaction.

Willing and able to travel up to 50% domestically with occasional international travel.

This job may be based in Illinois.Siemens Energy offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay. The base salary range for this position in Illinois is $170,000-240,000 and the annual sales incentive target is 25% of base salary.Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, certifications, and other business needs. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.
