Job summary

HJ Oldenkamp is seeking a Regional Sales Director for the Royal Oak office to lead a sales team covering Michigan, Northern Ohio and Northern Indiana. The role focuses on Dupont Corian surfaces and cabinetry, serving commercial and residential markets.

The candidate will mentor the team, manage territory operations, and travel 5–8 overnights monthly to expand relationships with fabricators, builders and architects. A strong industry network and leadership track are essential.

Qualifications

• 7–15 years of sales and supervisory experience in building materials.
• 3+ years of commercial builder materials sales with familiarity in commercial architectural design.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; candidate resides in SE Michigan/Metro Detroit area.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen the sales team through training and mentorship and set measurable goals.
• Provide day-to-day territory management as a resource for sales and internal stakeholders.
• Travel 5–8 overnights per month to drive strategy and relationships.
• Develop and implement sales strategies, pricing initiatives, and lead generation.
• Collaborate with supplier management to coordinate business plans.
