Job summary

Nilfisk in Chicago, IL is seeking a Regional Sales Associate to provide field level sales support under the Regional Director. You will demonstrate equipment, train users, conduct site surveys and assist with trade shows and open houses, while coordinating in Salesforce and supporting Regional Managers.

The role welcomes entry‑level candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and strong communication, time management and problem‑solving abilities.

  • Support the local Regional Managers from the direction of the Regional Director on other business‑critical functions.

Job Description

The primary function of the Regional Sales Associate is field level sales support. The Sales Associate will work with the Regional Managers in their geography under the direction of the Regional Director. The Sales Associate will support the Regional Managers, dealers, and end users by conducting equipment demonstrations, equipment use and care training, site surveys, assisting in supporting trade shows and open houses, and assisting the Regional Director in other business‑critical functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent education.
Experience
  • Entry‑level; all experience levels are welcome.
Knowledge & Personal Attributes
  • Self‑starter, self‑motivated, with good business acumen and self‑discipline.
  • Enthusiastic, persevering, reliable, ethical, with strong selling skills.
  • Strong communication skills; time management, responsiveness, sense of urgency, prioritization, and problem‑solving.
  • Willingness to travel overnight occasionally.
  • Ability to conduct seminars, extensive building evaluations, and recommend equipment for respective applications.
  • Pass physical requirements, including lifting, standing for prolonged periods, and safe driving.
Computer Skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com (web and mobile).
