Job summary

Bimbo QSR Chicago LLC in Denver, CO is seeking a Regional Supervisor of Safety & Wellness to lead safety programs, training, and workers' compensation administration across US bakeries.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Safety Leadership experience in manufacturing, deep OSHA know-how, and strong communication and analytical skills. Travel up to 50% is required to support all US bakeries.

Qualifications

• B.S. Business, Human Resources or Safety related field.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Safety Leader/Trainer in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local regulations. OSHA Compliance.
• Good analytical and communication skills (oral and written).
• Computer proficient: Excel, ADP.
• Available to travel 50% to support all the BQ US bakeries.

Responsibilities

• Lead Safety compliance, training, injury/accident prevention programs.
• Develops, executes and maintains effective employee safety program training in compliance with OSHA.
• Establishes safety committees to increase safety awareness and reduce accidents.
• Investigates work related accidents and develops preventive solutions.
• Creates and maintains safety related reports and PPE inventory.
• Oversee Workers' Compensation program and third party administrator.
• Coordinate regulatory inspections and follow up on deficiencies.
• Conduct safety risk assessments of new bakery equipment.
