Job summary

Asplundh is seeking a Regional Field Safety Trainer based in Phoenix, Reno, or Salt Lake City with frequent travel across Utah and Nevada to implement and oversee safety and technical training programs for regional personnel.

The role requires 5+ years in line clearance/tree trimming, LCQS certification, strong communication, and the ability to train and coach field crews across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in line clearance tree trimming industry and LCQS completions, with prior foreman or higher role.
• Strong oral and written communication and ability to deliver training at a management level.
• Willingness to travel extensively across AZ, UT, and NV and pass pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical expert for all regional training programs and provide support to region personnel.
• Organize, schedule, and conduct regional training programs (NELO, LCQS, DMP, First Aid/CPR, rigging, climbing, etc.).
• Conduct job site inspections and JBOs, monitor LCQS training tracking, and ensure documentation compliance.
• Provide GF LCQS training and mentoring; evaluate crew knowledge and training progress.
• Support incident investigations and research new industry techniques to improve regional operations.
