Responsibilities include compliance oversight, hazard analysis, safety training, and maintaining the safety manual. Requires BCSP CHST/STSC, OSHA-30, and strong communication skills; bilingual ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• BCSP credential (CHST or STS-C).
• 3+ years overseeing electrical contractor scope on healthcare or data center projects.
• OSHA 30-hour certification within the past 3 years.
• Understanding of Workers’ Compensation.
• Strong technical writing ability.
• Collaborative approach to solve safety challenges.
• Ability to train groups of 25–30.
• Adaptable to changing environments with minimal direction.
• Ability to work with all levels of Miller Electric.
• High energy and self-motivated.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with regulations, laws, standards, policies, and procedures.
• Provide technical expertise to managers and supervisors for eliminating or controlling hazards.
• Plan and conduct periodic and unscheduled safety surveys and inspections.
• Conduct hazard analyses of project operations.
• Maintain and update the company safety manual.
• Develop and conduct risk assessments and Job Task Analyses.
• Coordinate safety training and promote safety awareness across projects.
• Ensure safe placement and job assignments.
• Assist with accident record keeping and investigations.
• Foster teamwork when advising on corrections; perform other duties as assigned.
