Job summary

Fort Worth ISD is seeking a Manager - Regional Safety to direct daily safety and security operations across an assigned region, supervise campus monitors, coordinate with School Resource Officers, and ensure compliance with district safety standards.

The role reports to the Director I - Regional Safety, is exempt, and offers a salary range of $70,670.20 to $85,145.50 with 226 duty days. Location is the District Service Center, with a closing date of 10/22/2026.

Qualifications

• Accredited High School diploma, GED, or Texas Certificate of High School Equivalency required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Experience in public education, law enforcement, or emergency management is preferred; supervisory experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates day-to-day safety and security operations for all campuses within an assigned region.
• Supervises campus monitors, including interviewing, scheduling, coaching, and performance evaluation.
• Coordinates School Resource Officers and district security personnel within the region.
• Deploys security coverage based on campus needs and events, including emergencies and after-hours coverage.
• Provides guidance on safety protocols and ensures accurate reporting of incidents to appropriate contacts.
• Maintains regional emergency operation plans, drills, and safety assessments; facilitates training as needed.
