Knife River - North Central is seeking a Regional Health & Safety Director to develop and oversee comprehensive safety strategies across the Central Region, including ND, MN, SD, IA, and TX. You will guide risk reduction, coaching, and leadership to build a culture of safety excellence.
The role requires a Bachelor’s in safety/health/engineering or related field and progressive safety leadership within mining, construction, or manufacturing, with strong regulatory knowledge and SMS experience.
Competenze
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in safety-related field.
- Progressive safety leadership experience in mining, construction, heavy civil, or manufacturing.
- Knowledge of MSHA, OSHA, DOT, and other regulations.
- Experience developing or implementing safety management systems.
Mansioni
- Partner with regional leadership to align safety principles, programs and systems.
- Lead, mentor, and coach safety professionals within the region.
- Oversee the Safety Management System and ensure its effectiveness.
- Serve as subject matter expert for health & safety and regulatory issues.
