Knife River Corporation seeks a Regional Health & Safety Director to lead safety strategy across the Central Region. You will partner with regional operations to drive safety excellence, reduce risk, and ensure compliance with MSHA, OSHA, DOT and related regulations.

You will mentor safety professionals, oversee the Safety Management System, conduct site audits, and support acquisitions with due diligence. This position can be located in ND, MN, SD, IA, or TX, emphasizing practical, data-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a safety-related field.
• Progressive safety leadership experience in mining, construction, heavy civil, or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of MSHA, OSHA, DOT, BATFE, and FRA regulations.

Responsabilités

• Partner with regional leadership to align safety principles and systems.
• Lead and coach safety professionals within the region for effectiveness.
• Oversee the Safety Management System and regulatory compliance.
• Support due diligence for acquisitions by reviewing safety performance.
