Job summary

Asplundh is seeking a Regional Safety Superintendent to drive safety excellence across field operations in the region. You will analyze safety programs, update manuals, and implement proactive risk management strategies to protect employees and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will lead investigations of accidents and near-misses, coordinate safety training, and collaborate with regional teams to align safety initiatives with corporate goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in safety management within construction or utility sectors.
• Robust knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.
• Ability to analyze safety data and implement strategic improvements.
• Strong written and verbal communication for reporting and training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular job site inspections and correct hazards.
• Lead safety investigations for accidents, incidents, and near-misses.
• Oversee safety training programs and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Develop and implement hazard abatement programs and risk controls.
• Maintain records of safety audits, training, and incident reports.
• Collaborate with regional management to drive safety initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance to field teams and ensure best practices.
