Job summary

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions seeks a General Manager to launch and lead a new regional roofing operation on California's Central Coast (Paso Robles). You will oversee business development, estimating, operations, and financial performance, building a strong local team and driving profitable growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership in commercial/residential roofing.
• Experience managing branch operations or multiple departments.
• Strong roofing estimating, sales, and project management background.
• Proven ability to grow revenue with healthy profit margins.
• Understanding of construction accounting, budgeting, cash flow.
• Knowledge of low-slope and steep-slope roofing, waterproofing, and codes.
• Leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Autonomy and self-motivation; valid driver's license; travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow local commercial and residential roofing markets.
• Build relationships with property managers, contractors, developers, and owners.
• Prepare accurate roofing estimates and proposals; review plans and takeoffs.
• Develop competitive pricing while protecting margins; close projects.
• Oversee budgets, profitability, cash flow, and financial reporting.
• Lead daily branch operations; supervise PMs, superintendents, staff; ensure safety & quality.
• Plan labor, equipment, materials; mentor team; ensure OSHA compliance.
