Job summary

Hill Valley Healthcare is seeking a Regional Director of Clinical Reimbursement (RN) to lead regional strategies for MDS and reimbursement accuracy across multiple facilities in Northern Virginia.

You will partner with facility and regional leaders to ensure regulatory compliance, optimize revenue, and mentor MDS Coordinators and IDT members. This role requires strong leadership and deep MDS expertise to drive performance.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in VA.
• Minimum 3 years MDS/reimbursement experience in a Skilled Nursing or LTC setting.
• Regional leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Must reside in or relocate to the Northern Virginia area.
• Strong knowledge of MDS, PDPM, Medicare, and reimbursement regulations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across facility, regional, and corporate teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional clinical reimbursement strategy to optimize revenue and ensure accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to MDS, Medicare, and billing.
• Oversee ARD scheduling, MDS completion timelines, and documentation integrity.
• Chair regional reimbursement and revenue-focused meetings.
• Provide education, mentorship, and guidance to MDS Coordinators and IDT members.
• Support interviews, onboarding, and ongoing education for MDS leadership.
• Serve as a subject matter expert during audits, denials, and operational transitions.
