Clayton Clinical in Northern Virginia seeks a Regional Director of Clinical Reimbursement (RN) to lead reimbursement strategy across multiple facilities. You will ensure regulatory compliance, optimize revenue, and guide MDS teams.

This high-visibility regional role requires strong leadership, PDPM/MDS expertise, and the ability to collaborate with facility, regional, and corporate leaders; relocation or residency in Northern Virginia is required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in VA.
• Minimum 3 years of MDS or reimbursement experience in SNF/LTC.
• Regional leadership experience preferred.
• Must reside in or relocate to Northern Virginia.
• Strong knowledge of MDS, PDPM, Medicare, and reimbursement rules.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional clinical reimbursement strategy to optimize revenue and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal MDS, Medicare, and billing regs.
• Oversee ARD scheduling, MDS timelines, and documentation integrity.
• Chair regional reimbursement and revenue-focused meetings.
• Mentor MDS Coordinators and IDT members.
• Support interviews, onboarding, and ongoing MDS leadership education.
• Act as SME during audits, denials, and transitions.
