Job summary

ESS Companies in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Risk Manager, SW to oversee claims management, risk management, and insurance administration for Southwest Construction Operations. This on-site role reports to the ESSC Risk team and partners with Operations leadership to align risk practices with enterprise standards.

The ideal candidate will manage workers’ compensation, auto, GL, and property claims from initial report to resolution, coordinate with carriers and brokers, and support OCIP/CCIP

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial claims and risk management in construction.
• Ability to review insurance documentation and coordinate with brokers.
• Strong Microsoft Office and records management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage workers’ compensation, automobile, general liability, property, and other applicable claims from reporting to resolution.
• Coordinate claim reporting with carriers, brokers, and legal counsel.
• Support insurance program administration (OCIPs/CCIPs) and renewals.
• Provide guidance on claim reporting requirements and escalation expectations.
