Job summary

Mesa Energy Systems, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Workers’ Compensation Claims Administrator to manage WC and auto liability claims, support safety initiatives, and assist with insurance activities. You will oversee the end-to-end claims process, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with internal partners on injured workers’ health and status.

We value strong communication, empathy, problem-solving, and organization, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and advanced Excel. Some travel (<10%) may be required, and you’ll contribute to risk management, training, and data-driven safety improvements through dashboards and quarterly reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Workers’ Compensation claims administration and workplace safety support.
• Familiarity with OSHA reporting and safety compliance standards preferred.
• Experience working with internal administrators, third-party administrators, and insurance carriers.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and manage workers’ comp claims from start to finish.
• Investigate incidents, gather information, and determine claim validity.
• Ensure compliance with WC laws, regulations, and policies.
• Coordinate with employees, supervisors, HR Benefits, medical providers and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of all claims and documentation.
• Support return-to-work programs and light-duty assignments.
• Track costs and medical expenses related to WC claims.
• Provide training on WC procedures and regulations.
• Support risk management meetings and data analysis.
• Assist with WC-related litigation documentation and coordination.
