Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance in Dallas, TX seeks a senior leader to oversee Risk Engineering for the US and Latin America with emphasis on energy and construction. You will manage a regional team, align with global strategy, and collaborate with Underwriting, Claims, Actuarial, Finance, and Product Line Management to drive risk assessment, pricing input, and survey strategies.

You will represent Liberty with brokers and clients, lead development of client service plans, and participate in industry

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in a technical discipline or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of experience in energy industries and/or related lines of business.
• Experience collaborating across Underwriting, Claims, Actuarial, Finance and Product Line Management.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with clients, brokers and internal partners.
• Ability to travel regularly.

Responsibilities

• Leads and supports development and delivery of bespoke client service plans through client engagement and survey strategy.
• Represents Liberty Risk Engineering with brokers, clients, and industry stakeholders to support new and renewal business opportunities.
• Leads engagement with regional Heads of Broker Risk Engineering to strengthen market visibility and thought leadership.
• Represents Liberty at conferences, technical presentations, and industry papers to promote Risk Engineering value.
• Maintains knowledge of assigned lines and market trends, recommending external developments to services and policies.
• Provides regional leadership for the US and Latin America Risk Engineering team across lines of business.
• Manages resources, budget, headcount planning and staffing coordination with regional/global leadership.
• Contributes to global Risk Engineering strategy and leads regional implementation.
• Establishes workflows, tools and advisory services aligned with global/ regional expectations.
• Serves as integration point across risk engineering, underwriting, claims, actuarial, finance and product line management.
• Oversees survey and inspection strategy for the regional team.
