Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking a senior regional leader for Risk Engineering to guide energy and construction risk across the US and Latin America. You will coordinate with underwriting, claims, actuarial, finance, and product lines to shape risk management and pricing strategies, while representing Liberty at client and industry forums.

The role partners with brokers and clients to deliver bespoke service plans, maintain current market knowledge, and drive cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

• BS in a technical discipline; 10+ years in energy industries such as oil, gas, petrochemical, power, renewables, or heavy industries.
• 10+ years in the insurance sector in relevant lines of business.
• Demonstrated cross-functional partnership with Underwriting, Claims, Actuarial, and Finance.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with external clients and brokers.
• Ability to travel regularly.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional Risk Engineering for the US and Latin America, focused on energy and construction.
• Develop bespoke client service plans through engagement, strategy, and coordinated delivery.
• Represent Liberty Risk Engineering with brokers, clients, and industry stakeholders to support new and renewal business.
• Engage with regional Heads of Broker Risk Engineering to strengthen market visibility and thought leadership.
• Maintain knowledge of energy, construction, and market trends to inform services and policies.
• Provide regional leadership for the Risk Engineering team across assigned lines of business; oversee staffing and budgeting.
• Contribute to global Risk Engineering strategy and ensure consistent regional implementation.
