Job summary

Mutual of America Financial Group seeks a Regional Sales Director to lead retirement plan sales in California, covering Concord, San Francisco, Sacramento or Fresno. You will drive new business, engage plan sponsors, and cross-sell a full retirement products suite.

The role requires 5+ years of B2B outside sales, knowledge of 401(k)/403(b) plans, and strong prospecting skills. A FINRA license and a valid driver's license are essential, with a competitive base and uncapped commissions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of outside B2B sales experience with territory management.
• Knowledge of retirement products (401k and 403b).
• Ability to make outbound cold calls to prospective clients.
• Proven cold calling and sales ability.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strategic thinker who can work independently.
• Active FINRA Series 6, 63 and SIE.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a large territory with new business.
• Meet Plan Sponsors of retirement plans via cold calling, networking and referrals.
• Cross-sell solutions and exceed sales targets.
• Attend client reviews with CRM to secure introductions and references.
