The Regional Manager, East Coast is responsible for the commercial performance, leadership, talent, and operational execution of a portfolio of luxury retail boutiques.
As the direct leader of Store Managers, this role drives sales and profitability, develops strong store leadership, maintains an elevated client experience, and ensures consistent execution of brand and operational standards. The ideal candidate is a commercially focused people leader who balances strong relationships with clear accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Performance
- Own regional sales performance and key retail KPIs, including traffic, conversion, transactions, ATV, UPT, and clienteling productivity.
- Analyze results, identify trends and risks, and implement action plans to improve performance.
- Coach Store Managers to understand their businesses and develop effective commercial strategies.
- Partner with senior retail leadership to adjust regional priorities based on business needs.
Leadership and Talent Development
- Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers through clear expectations, consistent feedback, and accountability.
- Create development plans and coach leaders to independently identify and resolve business challenges.
- Address performance concerns promptly and professionally.
- Identify high-potential talent and maintain succession plans for key leadership positions.
- Partner with Human Resources and Store Managers to strengthen recruiting, onboarding, retention, and performance management.
Client Experience and Clienteling
- Ensure a consistently elevated luxury client experience across the region.
- Build a strong culture of clienteling, appointment selling, outreach, and relationship development.
- Monitor CRM performance and ensure client outreach generates measurable traffic and sales.
- Identify opportunities for events, partnerships, and VIP initiatives that support boutique growth.
- Maintain strong standards for product knowledge, styling, and transaction building.
Operations and Brand Standards
- Ensure stores comply with company policies, operational procedures, administrative requirements, and brand standards.
- Maintain consistency across inventory management, cash handling, scheduling, reporting, compliance, visual merchandising, and store presentation.
- Conduct strategic store visits focused on leadership, talent, client experience, operations, and commercial opportunities.
- Partner with Operations, Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, and IT to resolve store-level challenges.
Communication and Partnership
- Serve as the primary link between East Coast Store Managers and senior retail leadership.
- Communicate priorities clearly and ensure consistent execution across all locations.
- Proactively eliminate business, staffing, operational, or client risks with recommended solutions.
- Provide concise regional updates outlining results, opportunities, actions, ownership, and next steps.

Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive retail leadership experience, preferably in luxury, premium fashion, or specialty retail.
- Multi-store or regional leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success developing Store Managers and high-performing teams.
- Strong knowledge of luxury client experience, clienteling, and retail KPIs.
- Proven ability to translate business results into effective action plans.
- Experience with recruiting, performance management, succession planning, and talent retention.
- Strong communication, presentation, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to travel frequently throughout the East Coast region.
