Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation in Maryland seeks a Retail Area Leader to supervise a regional group of 14–27 branches and teams, driving sales and service goals across Retail and Small Business.

You will coach branch leaders, reinforce the client engagement model, analyze performance data, and collaborate with Mortgage Banking, Wealth Management, Investment, Insurance Services, and Payment Solutions to deliver results and improve customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training.
• Five years of financial services experience.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing group locations and leaders.
• Strong interpersonal, sales and relationship management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to provide group leadership and to handle multiple priorities under time constraints.
• Sales execution and direct sales leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a region of 14–27 branches and teammates to meet sales and service goals.
• Coach, counsel, provide feedback and support of sales cultures.
• Collaborate across lines of business to serve retail and small business clients.
• Review monthly reports to ensure balanced financial performance of branch teams.
• Develop plans to improve performance and ensure client engagement model adherence.
