Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking a Retail Area Leader to oversee a region of 14–27 branches, driving sales, service quality and profitability. You will coach branch leaders and teams, align them with the Bank’s purpose and credit culture, and push continuous improvements in performance.

The role emphasizes leadership, strong communication, and collaboration across Mortgage Banking, Wealth Management and Insurance Services to meet regional goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent education and related training.
• Five years of financial services experience.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing group locations and leaders.
• Strong interpersonal, sales and relationship management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to provide group leadership and to handle multiple priorities under time constraints.
• Sales execution and direct sales leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Instill purpose, mission and values within retail and small business teams.
• Lead sales and service performance; coach, counsel, provide feedback and reinforce the Bank's sales and credit cultures.
• Collaborate across lines of business (Mortgage Banking, Wealth Management, Investment, Insurance Services, Payment Solutions) to achieve financial goals.
• Assist in managing retention, personnel and facilities; review monthly reports to ensure balanced performance.
• Lead, coach and manage branch leaders to improve sales, service, and operational performance.
• Deliver retail and small business growth, profitability and quality within the region.
• Monitor area and branch performance via financial and activity reports and address gaps.
