Regional Respiratory Therapist

The Avir Trilogy is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Dallas, TX. About the Role:

The Regional Respiratory Therapist will play a pivotal role in our team, providing comprehensive respiratory care to patients across the Dallas region. As a key member of our respiratory therapy department, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient. Your expertise will be instrumental in improving patient outcomes, enhancing quality of life, and promoting a culture of excellence in respiratory care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality respiratory therapy services to patients in various settings, including hospital, clinic, and home care environments
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory status and develop personalized treatment plans to improve lung function and overall health
  • Administer a range of respiratory therapies, including oxygen therapy, non-invasive ventilation, and Aerosol medication delivery
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective patient care plans that address comorbidities and complex medical conditions
  • Conduct educational sessions and training programs for patients, families, and healthcare staff to promote understanding of respiratory care principles and best practices
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure adherence to evidence-based practices and optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment plans
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in respiratory therapy, with a strong foundation in respiratory care principles and practices
  • RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Proficient in electronic medical records and respiratory therapy software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and situations
