RailPros is seeking an Area Engineering Manager in Layton, UT to lead regional project teams and drive growth across service lines. You will mentor staff, coordinate resources, and oversee client relationships while shaping strategic direction for the area.

The role emphasizes budgeting, forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration with corporate leadership to deliver value to clients and maintain industry leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• PE license or equivalent.
• 8+ years of leadership experience in regional/departmental rail engineering roles.
• Proven experience with business development, project management, and financial oversight.
• Experience managing client relationships, contracts and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee local area project managers and staffing.
• Lead client prospecting and cross-selling efforts.
• Drive business development and sales tracking.
• Represent RailPros at industry events and conferences.
• Monitor financial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate resources and mentor employees.
