Job summary

Live Well Homecare seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic, therapeutic, or research imaging procedures with ionizing radiation. You will independently execute radiographic and fluoroscopic exams, prioritizing patient safety and ALARA principles.

The role includes preparing medications and managing exposure, evaluating image quality, and assisting licensed practitioners during procedures. Collaboration and ongoing learning are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology; a Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry within six months.
• Applicants hired after a certain date must progress to level 2 within 24 months.
• Strong attention to safety, technical skills, and the ability to work in clinical environments.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history while maintaining confidentiality.
• Optimize imaging protocols, technical factors, and safety measures for each procedure.
• Administer medications via vascular access when prescribed.
• Evaluate images for accuracy and quality, and ensure proper data storage or transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers.
• Assist practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures, including outside the radiology department.
