Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic, therapeutic, and fluoroscopic imaging procedures with a focus on patient safety and ALARA compliance. You will ensure correct orders, prepare patients, and uphold confidentiality across diverse clinical settings.

Responsibilities include image evaluation, data management, supervising students, and assisting practitioners in fluoroscopic procedures within operating rooms and ICUs, while contributing to quality

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
• Ability to independently perform and assist with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Strong understanding of radiation safety, patient care, and imaging techniques.
• Excellent communication, education, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, ensure proper patient identification, and prepare patients for exams while maintaining confidentiality.
• Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and prioritize patient safety following ALARA principles.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access under licensed practitioner supervision.
• Evaluate images for quality, proper positioning, and verify data storage or transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, assist practitioners in fluoroscopic and specialized procedures.
• Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in various clinical settings, including operating rooms and ICUs.
• Demonstrate proficiency in routine and complex procedures, participate in quality improvement activities, and support departmental priorities.
